ML10AL (China ISC: U40108) is a carbon steel wire for cold heading. This wire adopts advanced production technology and strict quality control, has good forging and weldability, high strength and good toughness, so that it can withstand heavy pressure and frequent impact. The addition of aluminum gives it excellent corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance, so that it can still maintain stable performance in various harsh environments. ML10AL wire has a slightly higher strength than ML08AL wire, and its machinability is improved by heat treatment.

Mechanical properties:

-Annealed state (surface hardened steel): When the diameter of the wire rod (round steel) is 5 (12) mm ≤ d ≤ 60 (100) mm, the tensile strength σb ≤ 450 MPa, and the yield point σs ≥ 245 MPa.
-Heat treatment reference data (not delivery conditions): When the diameter of the sample is d = 25 mm, the tensile strength σb after heat treatment is 400~700 MPa, the yield point σs ≥ 250 MPa, and the elongation δ% ≥ 15.
