17Cr3 wire is an important alloy structural steel material. With the careful proportion of chemical composition, it enhances toughness and strength, improves hardenability and wear resistance. Its strength and hardenability are better than 15Cr steel. The hardenability of steel is high. The critical hardenability diameter in oil is 2-15mm, and the critical hardenability diameter in water is 6-29mm. It also has good welding performance. Application:Mostly used to manufacture high-grade cold-formed fasteners, special-shaped parts, etc., and also used to manufacture carburized gears, gear shafts, cams, piston pins, worms, etc. with high core strength requirements, surface wear, large size, complex shape but small load; widely used in automobiles, high-speed rail, aerospace, home appliances and other fields.

The blank size of the specimen is 15mm, It should be noted that the mechanical properties of specimens with different diameters or thicknesses may vary.

Heat treatment specifications: When quenching, the first time is 880℃, the second time is 780~820℃, water cooling, oil cooling; tempering is 200℃, water cooling, air cooling.

Delivery status: Delivery in heat-treated (normalizing, annealing or high-temperature tempering) or non-heat-treated state, the specific delivery state is agreed upon by both parties.
