100Cr6 wire rod is a high-carbon chromium bearing steel material with excellent performance. The carbides in this steel are evenly distributed, it is not easy to precipitate carbide networks, and it is easy to eliminate by normalizing. When the surface residual carbon content is 0.6% to 0.7% of the decarburized layer, the overheat sensitivity of the surface layer will increase. After normal heating and quenching, the surface hardness can still reach 60 to 62HRC, but its bending strength will decrease by 40% to 50%. 100Cr6 wire rod has excellent wear resistance and can maintain good working conditions in long-term friction and wear environments. At the same time, its excellent fatigue resistance enables it to remain stable under frequent load changes.
